Objective: This program develops skills that will enable
you to identify common workplace communication challenges
and overcoming them. Participants will learn key principles
for communicating effectively both verbally and non verbally.
Target
Audience: All professionals who need to effectively
convey their ideas and accurately understand others.
Instructor: Rae
Ann Bruno has 13 years experience in the Information
Technology industry with emphasis on
business alignment of I/T services. She was the Director
of Customer Service for Siemens Energy & Automation
(SE&A) where she started an I/T training and documentation
department, re-engineered the help desk, and implemented
problem management and Service Level Management across
the I/T organization. She came to SE&A from Cutler-Hammer
where her training team won the Cutler-Hammer Award
for their innovative and successful training program,
which
focused on raising the computer literacy of the Cutler-Hammer
sales force through organized peer training.
Rae Ann was nominated for the 2001 Computer World Premier
100 and was the recipient of the 99 Service Award from
Service News. She served on the World Leadership Team
for Help Desk 2000, and is a certified trainer for
STI Help Desk Professional Certification. She has trained
on team facilitation, communication skills, and measures
/ metrics both in corporate settings and at industry
conferences.

Communication is at the heart of most successes and
failures in the workplace. By improving internal communications,
you can improve organizational efficiencies. This program
focuses on identifying common workplace communication
challenges and overcoming them. Through role playing
and group exercises, participants will learn key principles
for communicating effectively both verbally and non verbally.
