Creating Functional Specifications for Projects

Program Hours: 8:30am. to 4:30pm
Continental breakfast - 8:00am (Lunch included both days )

Objective: This program includes new concepts; such as, Use Cases, Business Domain Models, and UML. The objective is to dramatically improve the ability of participants to accurately identify needs and to develop documentation and processes that will lead to a successful project. Completion of this program earns 14 PDU Credits.

Target Audience: Users, liaisons, and technicians whose responsibilities include specifying or developing enhancements of existing programs or new systems. Also business analysts who interact with technical development personnel. A mix of technical levels in class is encouraged.

Instructor: Gary Schmitz
Gary has extensive experience as a Project Manager and programmer with several financial institutions. He has a thorough understanding of both mainframe and client-server environments. Gary has consulted and taught for a wide-range of organizations throughout the United States, Latin America, Asia, Europe and Canada. His long list of satisfied clients includes the United States Army, and several fortune 500 companies; such as, American Express, Chase Manhattan, and Citicorp.
