Stress Management

Objective: This program will provide you an understanding of Stress, and the skills and tools to re-gain control of your life both personally and professionally, while significantly improving productivity by reducing lost time on the job caused by stress.

Target Audience: Individuals who are currently experiencing significant levels of stress caused by, technology change, customer/client request, and business reorganizations leading to uncertainty and new assignments.

Focus:
Stress is defined as "The Bodies Reaction to Change." Everyone in the IT business experiences change on a minute-to-minute basis. Therefore, stress is no stranger to the IT professional. This Program will help participants understand the causes of stress, its place in routine living, good and bad, and some positive ways to cope with stress. The program will be didactic and experimental. Participants will have the opportunity to measure their current level of stress. This workshop will provide practical exercises to learn and instill stress management techniques. Participants will leave with hands on solutions dealing with stress both in the work place and at home.
